Kyoto hachi other spots

Every 21st day of the month Kyoto’s famous flea market Kobo-san is held on the temple grounds of Toji.
This flea market is great if you are looking for antiques, kimono or just want to stroll around.

Every morning starting from 6am visitors can participate in a  buddhist service. No reservation required. 

The spacious park in Kyoto is a popular recreation spot where Kyotoites enjoy the four seasons with the plum grove, sakura trees and autumn foliage. The park also attracts visitors with monthly events such as handicraft markets and fairs. 

Japan’s largest Railway Museum attracts many families and railroad fans and includes 53 railway vehicles. 

The aquarium with the concept of “life connected with water” is teaching visitors about the waters of Kyoto and is a great spot for a rainy day or if you get bored of temples or shrines.

The highlight of this public bath house, besides the great atmosphere to relax, is the friendly lady at the reception.
